The Pink Stuff Paste — Verdict: Excellent
Genuinely earns the hype. This mild abrasive paste works on an enormous range of surfaces and marks — pan bottoms, oven racks, bathroom tiles, chrome taps. Not suitable for delicate surfaces like marble or polished chrome, but for everything else it's outstanding value.
Zoflora — Verdict: Very Good
A disinfectant concentrate that delivers real antibacterial performance alongside genuine fragrance. Dilute correctly (usually 1:40 for surfaces). Excellent for bins, floors, and general surface disinfecting. The fragrance genuinely lingers. Not a heavy-duty degreaser — that's not what it's for.
Elbow Grease All-Purpose Degreaser — Verdict: Very Good
Genuinely impressive on grease — kitchen appliances, hob surround, extractor filters. Inexpensive and effective. Can be diluted for lighter tasks.
Stardrops White Vinegar Spray — Verdict: Limited
Fine for descaling taps and showerheads, but nowhere near as versatile as the social media content implies. Avoid on marble, stone, and anything with a waxed or polished finish.
HG Mould Spray — Verdict: Outstanding
If you have bathroom mould or mildew on silicone, this is the most effective product you'll find. Works where everything else fails. Use with good ventilation.
