Why we built something better than a star rating
A star rating tells you almost nothing on its own. Two cleaners can both average 4.8 stars - but one always turns up on time and responds to messages in minutes, while the other is a chore to reach and often runs late. A single number can’t capture that difference.
That’s why every cleaner on my cleanerHUB is scored using the Trust Clean Index™ - our proprietary, AI-driven quality score that looks at how a cleaner actually performs, not just what they’re rated.
What the Trust Clean Index actually measures
Reliability - how consistently a cleaner follows through on the jobs they accept.
Response time - how quickly they reply to booking requests and messages.
Job timing accuracy - how closely they stick to the agreed start and finish times.
Review sentiment - our system reads what customers actually write, not just the star score they leave, so a genuinely glowing review carries more weight than a bare rating.
Proximity - cleaners based closer to you are more likely to accept and reliably complete your booking.
Each of these feeds into a single score that’s continuously updated as a cleaner completes more jobs.
